Function Room Hire Terms and Conditions:

CONFIRMATION

All bookings are preferred to be confirmed by email as is other details so please supply a current email address as well as contact phone numbers.

PAYMENT/DEPOSIT

To book the room the hire fee of $200.00 must be paid and the total amount is non refundable.  No “pencilled” in bookings are taken and the room is not considered booked until paid for. The maximum time you can have the room till is 2:30am although we may ask that you finish your function earlier if the majority of your guests have already left. 

A credit card must be held by us as security for any charges and bar tabs outstanding or any damage to the room. You agree that any damage to the room or loss of items from the room will be charged to your credit card on the night at our discretion.  You are at all times responsible for the behaviour of your guests.

We accept Mastercard, Amex, & Visa, Eftpos, Cash, Internet Account Payments for menu items prior to function.  Sorry NO CHEQUES.  

RESTRICTIONS

You are not permitted to supply your own alcohol for your function.

CATERING

Any catering for the function can be done through us and ordered no later than the Wednesday before your function.  Or, you may provide your own catering.  However, you must provide your own dishes, plates, serviettes etc.  We can allow limited use of our kitchen facilities if you require them but there is a service charge of $50.00.  Limited use is for preperation only, we can not allow you to cook any of your items.

CANCELLATION

The total hire fee of $200 is non refundable.

AGE RESTRICTION

Cubbyhole has an entry of 21+ but we are flexible with functions.  If you have any guests who are under this age you must let us know at the time of your booking.  We prefer for 21st functions that the parents stay for the duration of the function. ,

DRESS STANDARD

You are requested to inform your guests that there is a resonable standard of dress for entry to Cubbyhole and the Lava Lounge and even though they may be invited to your private function, no exceptions will be made for casual, untidy dress. 

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT

We are required by law to abide by the Liquor Act 1989 and at all times reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. We ask that you understand that although you have hired the room, we must still be responsible hosts. You and your guests are still bound by the Liquor Act and your behaviour must be monitored as with any licensed premise.

NOISE RESTRICTION

As there are apartments directly behind the Lava Lounge we like to maintain the volume of music to a certain level.  You will be informed of the maximum level allowed and we will make adjustments accordingly.
